• Free-Text-Search EWSE Database, European Wide Service Exchange - an on-line information service for the Earth Observation community. The EWSE is basically an on-line dynamic database. The free text search facility llows the EWSE, and other, databases to be queried by typing in a query that may then, optionally, be expanded by the system to include (user selectable) synonyms and related words from an Earth Observation (EO) thesaurus.
• CIESIN The Consortium for International Earth Science Information Network - provides access to a distributed catalog that identifies data and information resources relevant to these topics. The Gateway is unique in that it conducts simultaneous search and retrieval across diverse databases worldwide.
