Haiphong is one of largest city in Vietnam after Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city. It lies on the bank of Cam river and serves as an important seaport for the northern part of the country. With its beautiful seascape and many attractive tourist sites such Cat Ba Archipelago and Ha Long bay, Haiphong is a major tourist attraction in Vietnam. Ha Long bay is an UNESCO World Heritage site, there are nearly 2000 islands within an area of 1,500 km².
