The
above image shows the temple complex of Angkor around the village
of Siem Reap. The Angkor Wat temple is a huge pyramid temple built
between 1113 and 1150. It is surrounded by a moat 570 feet wide
and about 4 miles long. It is regarded as a supreme masterpiece
of Khmer architecture. |
