| The following satellite images depict the change in the flow of Irrawaddy during different months in Ayeyarwady state, Myanmar. Myanmar experiences a tropical monsoon climate. The southwest monsoon (hot season) is from March to October while the northeast monsoon (cool season) is from November to February. Most of the rainfall occurs between mid-May and October.
